Election day, a time where millions of American brave the long lines and cold to cast their ballots. Most importantly for the youth, no more campaign comercials. With this day comes many interesting statistics. Surprisingly, 4 billion dollars is spent in the U.S. alone for campaigning. One of the most expenisve mid term elections to date. If that seems slightly ridiculous, remember that that is ten times more money than what the government has spent to fight the Ebola outbreak. This money might not all be for good, for not many people are influenced. "Experts predict only between 39 and 42-percent of Americans that are eligible to vote will participate in today's midterm." (CNN) Thats incredibly low numbers for people who have such strong opinions about the canidates. Although people running may not be the best for the Job, it is important that we, the American people, honor our freedom and olbigation to vote.
